Involved in motorsport since 1907, Pirelli has been the exclusive official tyre partner of the Formula 1™ World Championship since 2011 and has just renewed the agreement until 2023.

We are looking for an Operational Improvement Project Leader

The candidate will join the Operational Improvement Team with the following

Main responsibilities:

  • Drive acceleration of sustainable improvements across all areas of performance supporting company functions.
  • Support Pirelli functions to design or improve their Operational Improvement approach
  • Contribute to the development and deployment of Operational Improvement projects.
  • Promote outside-in through external benchmarking to identify best practices, improvements and innovations in order to challenge the status quo and define improvement of the actual standards. Create external perspectives through industry contacts.
  • Promote internal benchmark through a structured approach in order to identify and share best practices
  • Subject matter expert for projects focused on transformation cost (VSM, AM, PM, 6sigma, Logistics, Cost Deployment…)
  • Contribute to align and prioritize strategies and cross functional priorities
  • Support and Coordinate all the Regions. 



  • Experience on managing continuous improvement projects.
  • Experience in role or position close to strategic areas/teams
  • Proven expertise in leading Operational Excellence Projects in large organizations
  • Experience in structured approaches ( WCM,TPM, Zero Base Budget, 6Sigma, End to End flow optimization…)
  • Strong process orientation with solid financial and analytical skills, and ability to adapt emerging best practices and industry innovations
  • 5 years of experience in structured business context
  • Ability to effectively partner and deliver results in a global matrixed environment and Ability to lead a team of professionals with diverse skills and competencies spanning business and technical – located remotely
