The vacancy is for a Cluster JJPS Lead covering 3 sites (Pomezia, Mandra, Cairo) and based in Pomezia, with very good JJPS knowledge and lean principles for accelerating and sustaining the transformation with an E2E mindset in our EMEA MAKE plants network.

JJPS/JJOS is an integrated system of enterprise-wide principles, practices & tools, focused on building consistent, standard & transferable processes and capabilities to drive sustainable value for the business and customers.

It was launched in 2015 and in 2018 is deployed in all our sites in EMEA. An updated version JJPS 2.0 with a stronger end to end approach (Make, Quality, Source) has been developed and will be deployed in the coming 3 years. The regional JJPS team consists of 5 people whose responsibility is to deploy the JJPS 2.0 and being accountable for sites continuous improvement acceleration in a structured and consistent manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead High Quality JJPS 2.0 Diagnostic delivering at cluster level an aspirational 3 years road map in line with Site Masterplan bringing Value in Safety, Quality, Reliability, Agility, Waste and Cost, influencing favorably the Supply Chain Scorecard.
  • Leaad Road Map execution developing high Quality design charter leading to a robust detailed action plan and meaningful KPI to implement with success future state defined.
  • Lead strong governance conducting regular and demanding site scorecard review.
  • Develop site collaboration with Site JJPS Agent(s) to identify and bring options to cover gaps or business needs
  • Develop new tools and capabilities of all site teams as per JJPS capabilities evaluation or other Enterprise/Global/Regional programs
  • Strongly connected with Site Leads & MEX community to understand business needs/urgency to improve specific areas with active participation and accountability
  • Be active in Community of Practices between sites to facilitate exchange of best practices across sites (Regional & Global.)
  • Participate and Lead initiatives linked to the Make Excellence Strategy implementation
  • Active collaboration in Self Care or Skin Health & Essentials Portfolio Cluster to support improvement activities required by the EMEA MAKE COP Lead or Cluster MEX
  • Accountable for Capital – OPEX – Savings of the related cluster JJPS activities in collaboration with regional MS&T and EMEA PPM leads
  • Accountable JJPS Cluster reporting to EMEA JJPS Lead & Cluster MEX Lead

 

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • EMEA Internal Plant network with main accountability on specific Cluster JJPS
  • Direct reports - Site JJPS Agent(s)


Qualifications

Experience & Critical Technical Competencies:

  • At least 6 years of experience in Manufacturing Environment
  • Leadership experience in a plant environment or regional organization
  • Experience outside Manufacturing such as planning, delivering, or sourcing would be a plus
  • Outstanding ‘lean attitude’ and willingness/ability to learn fast: Continuous Improvement methodology background in Lean required (minimum BB or even MBB level);
  • Native-level knowledge of Italian language (C2) and Fluent in English (B2/C1 and above) other languages will be considered a plus;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and in particular Excel and PowerPoint

  • Plan, prioritize and organize complex tasks in a matrix environment
  • Solve problems by applying structured root cause problem solving tools and coach others to apply them
  • Develop direct reports with a clear roadmap to meet their aspirations and J&J pipeline
  • Capability to communicate virtually by utilizing all J&J recommended tools

 

Education

  • University degree (ideally in Supply Chain, Sciences, Engineering or Manufacturing)
  • One or more of the following qualifications: Lean, Six Sigma/Black Belt, etc.
     

Location and Travels requirements:

  • Position is based in Pomezia (Italy) plant as per specific cluster need
  • Around 20-50% travel may be required within the EMEA region – a JJPS deployment requires 8 weeks at 100% and 12 weeks at 70% on site mainly at the respected cluster
