Descrizione della posizione

Sella Corporate & Investment Banking is the business division of Gruppo Sella specialized in corporate finance transactions: M&A advisory, capital raising (Private Equity, listing on Stock Exchange), corporate bond issuance, debt structuring, Leveraged Finance and corporate development transaction in FIG sector.

Role Summary

Reporting to a Corporate Finance Director.

Handle the execution of M&A transactions and play a key role in the preparation of reporting materials. Analyze, assess and report on the risk - return trade - off of corporate development transactions.

Essential responsabilities

Under the supervision of a Director:

  • Carry out industry and company research (with focus in FIG sector)
  • Review company screening and industry research in the context of M&A projects (with focus in FIG sector)
  • Develop, produce and prepare comparative financial models
  • Be responsible for the preparation of excel models, mostly in the context of company valuations (comps, DDM, DCF, etc.)
  • Take the lead in the preparation of operating models / business plans
  • Contribute significantly in the drafting of presentations / pitch books / IM / / MoU / TS
  • Handle the execution of Corporate Finance transactions, leading the due diligence activities as well as supporting the team with the daily project management
  • Identify transaction strengths and weaknesses, form conclusions based on your own and third party due diligence as well as recommend appropriate structures and terms.
  • Support/assist the internal approvals process for proposed transactions
  • Ensure Due Diligence has been completed
  • Attend Bank meetings, meetings with Management and Due Diligence meetings/calls.
  • Coordinate with Operations


Qualifications / Requirements

  • BS/BA degree from a Tier-1 university
  • Previous experience in M&A (with a preference in FIG sector)
  • 1-4 years experience
  • Strong Excel knowledge
  • Strong technical skills especially in accounting, financial analysis and modelling
  • Attention to detail in a time sensitive environment
  • Analytical / Problem Solving skills
  • Written and oral communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Team Player
  • Fluency in English


The place of work will be Fintech District in Milan or HQ in Biella
