We are looking for a Buyer who will join our Motion Business, location Vittuone (MI).
As a Buyer the selected candidate will purchase materials and services according to required technical specification, price, delivery schedule and terms and you will ensure purchasing activities aligned with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.

Your responsibilities

• Identify/seek appropriate suppliers for the service and activities in collaboration with the relevant category group and negotiate agreements with them.
• Qualify new suppliers in cooperation with Supplier Quality and Engineering specialists.
• Periodically renew contracts, pricelists, terms and conditions in order to adapt corporate contractual framework to the local business needs.
• Analyze, evaluate and suggest offers in order to determine the optimal value.
• Oversees supplier performance (on time delivery, quality, lead time ) and resolves performance issues.

 

Your background

• High school technical diploma or Degree in Engineering or Economics;
• At least 1 years of experience in the role of buyer;
• Operational experience on systems;
• Knowledge of electromechanics is considered a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP system would be considered a plus;
• Good knowledge of English and Italian, written and spoken;
• Able to work under stress and be flexible to align your work with the business needs.
