For our consumer segment, Johnson&Johnson S.p.A, we are looking for a candidate to be hired as Professional Marketing Manager

This role is based in our office located in Santa Palomba - Pomezia (Rome) Italy.

Role and Purpose:

  • Builds the optimal professional model and implements the route to market for key brands across Self Care, Skin Health & Essential Health to drive HCP recommendation.
  • Develops, leads, and ensures execution of professional business plans.
  • Leads the professional detailing team and collaborates with the pharmacy sales team on the implementation of professional activities (F2F, congresses, KOL management, etc) as per brand plan.
  • Supports the brand teams on professional marketing activities (resources, budget, implementation plans, business insights).
  • Devises and manages professional BME for responsible brands.
  • Responsible on HCC processes related with professional contacts and activities.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Uses market data to build an omni-channel professional strategy including prioritisation of HCP targets and brands, and optimal route to market.
  • Identifies and tracks the right KPIs to deliver the strategy, including digital KPIs.
  • Collaborates with procurement to identify the right agency partners needed to execute the strategy.
  • Partners with cluster marketing team and other local markets in SEF to drive synergies, scale best practices and optimise plans.
  • Champions digital as a key touchpoint for HCPs and drives omni-channel agenda.
  • Develops innovative professional marketing programs based on brand/product strategies and implements through professional detailing team and brand team.
  • Sets local professional marketing plans in line with cluster professional strategy, brand strategy and company priorities. Establishes the reach, frequency, coverage, and engagement metrics for selected brand and target audiences.
  • Collaborates with brand teams to provide 360 holistic brand marketing mix.  Implements tactical plan by providing appropriate promotional materials and medical content for effective communication of brand benefits, attributes, and benefit for health care professional.
  • Optimises professional BME spend across all elements of the marketing mix and uses appropriate channels of communication (congresses, seminars, advisory board, CRM etc).
  • Develops new concepts and communication / medical claims for new opportunities.
  • Leads professional detailing team and builds strong relationship with the pharmacy sales team.
  • Builds strong partnership with Regional / Local Medical Affairs team in order to leverage clinical studies and scientific information.
  • Builds strong partnership with the cluster professional team and other local professional teams in SEF.
  • Ensures completion of market analysis and monitors competitive activity.
  • Compliance: Ensure systems are in place to ensure compliance with Regulatory Authority and corporate requirements and HCC requirements.
  • Builds strong network with key opinion leaders, associations, and societies and monitors industry developments impacting business.  
  • Works with these KOLs for speaker programs, digital content, PR activities, and advisory boards. 
  • Identification of potential changes market trends which impact J&J
  • Support brand team with market research activities involving HCPs
  • Coordinate the preparation of training materials for reps, as required, in accordance with SOPs and European processes
  • Provide training to Sales Representatives and Pharmacy teams as required

 

Qualifications

 

Education:

  • Degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, Marketing, or closely related specialty. Post-graduate education or equivalent experience in health care markets is desirable.

 

Experience:

  • At least 5 years mix of Consumer, Pharma and/or OTC experience
  • Experience from a multi-national or regional company in preferably FMCG
  • Experience in medical detailing / professional communication
  • Digital experience in developing and implementing campaigns
  • Agency management experience

 

Languages:

  •  Excellent verbal and written Italian and English (other languages a plus)

 

Other Job Specific Skills: 

  • Standard computer skills such as Must be familiar with Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc.
  • Project management tools is a plus
  • Market data providers such as IQVIA and Nielsen
