Descrizione della posizione

Reports to a Senior Brand Manager and the role is aimed at supporting the achievement of defined targets related to Profit and Loss, market share and competitive position, for assigned brand. Within the Category/Area strategy, supports the SBM in the definition of positioning and detailed strategies for Brand in scope, developing and implementing ideas, projects and other required actions, by monitoring and managing costs (e.g. advertising, promo, research spend) to keep them within budget boundaries.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provides information for the definition process of brand targets, sales mix, net sales, gross margin and marketing contribution for the brand, also in order to define volumes and sales value budget
  • Is involved in management of advertising, promotion, research and market analyses costs
  • Supports the SBM in preparing the annual PS5 defining volumes, P&L, activity plan etc.
  • Is highly involved in consumer / shopper understanding activities
  • Supports definition of actual/future positioning in comparison with competitors actions
  • Develops and implements the advertising strategies, by collaborating with external agencies and Media and making clear the legal requirements related to commercials
  • Monitors and controls the outputs related to brand plans
  • Performs periodical alignments with the Sales Force and Trade&Shopper Marketing unit, to evaluate current projects efficiency, competitors’ behavior and operating activities in the POS
  • Takes part in the sales forecast process with Sales, Logistics and Trade&Shopper Marketing depts.
  • Monitors P&L, Sales/Consumer KPIs

 

Who we are looking for:

  • 2-5 years of experience in Marketing dept.
  • FMCG would be a plus
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Fluency in Italian and English
  • Good skills in MS-Office applications (PowerPoint, Word)
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (i.e. pivot table, v-look up)
