Aim:

The position reports to Local Production Planning Manager (Alba Plant), and aims at granting results for service level for the products of his/her competence as well as cost results depending on planning activity of his/her reference UGPs. He/she will be a referring point for the developing activities, improvements area linked to planning both from production side as well as market side

Activities/Area of responsabilities:

Production Scheduling

  • Fulfill production requests from the markets and Central Planning
  • Define best production sequences for each line
  • Keep into consideration all production constraints, both technological and at costing level (shared with Ugp Manager)
  • Aim to give most efficient line set-up (shared with Ugp Manager)

 

Manpower saturation

  • He/She is in charge in the short term to optimize manpower, with the objective to have all blue collar manpower, for the production lines of his/her competence, fully saturated
  • Match with the system that all bluecollar are available as forecasted and be sure all bluecollar workers are properly associated to their UGPs
  • Avoid extracost and scheduler will have to use different leverages in  order to meet the goal (shared with Ugp Manager)
  • Definition of abseteeism rate in order to perform better forecats of manpower lack/redundancy (shared with Ugp Manager)

 

Manpower long term definition

  • He/she will be in charge to define, according to long term plans, manpower need for the production lines/UGPs under his/her responsability. This will be done on weekly base, according to Central Planning long term plan
  • Definition of abseteeism rate in order to perform better forecats of manpower needs, according to historical trends (shared with Ugp Manager)
  • According to seasonal contracts rules, FT and PT resources availablity, he/she has to define the need for seasonal workers in order to satisfy running of productions lines (shared with Ugp Manager)

Production factors update

  • He/she is in charge to keep update on production factors which will influence production output such as CPK, constraints, maintenance periods

 

KPIs

  • He/she will be responsible to monitor and analyze KPI and results for his/her product references, this with the aim to develop actions and create continuos improvement

 

Who we are looking for:

  • Master's degree in management or industrial engineering;
  • At least two years work experience in Production/SupplyChain Planning Function;
  • Fluent English;
  • Availability to international mobility;
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
  • Knowledge of SAP will be considered a plus.
