Descrizione della posizione

We are looking for a Sourcing Analyst to join our Electrification business, Smart Power Business Line, location Terranuova Bracciolini.
The selected candidate will be responsible for data management, analyzing performance, identifying problems and developing recommendations which support Procurement & Logistics (PL) department activities.

Your responsibilities

  • Operationalize and automate evaluations of assessments executed regularly for the factory, outsourced manufacturing plants (EMS) and management.
  • Collect, create and develop performance indicators at various levels.
  • Oversee supplier performance (on time delivery, quality, lead time), and resolve performance issues.
  • Align supplier orders with customer requirements (based on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)/project requirements) in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability and price.
  • Analyze and evaluate bids in order to determine the optimal value.
  • Support bid and proposal teams by providing relevant market information.
  • Crosscheck internal vs. external costed BOMs to achieve cost savings and /or cost avoidance.
  • Perform data analytics and deep dives to identify improvement areas.
  • Create reporting information from existing large data sources and refine those to KPIs.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
  • Design new analysis tools by analyzing requirements, constructing workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities and writing specifications.
  • Participate in improvement projects.


Your background

  • Specialization in analysis for Procurement and Logistic, Operations or Finance;
  • 2+ years of work related experience preferable;
  • Experience in Project Management, e.g. in a technical environment or software development;
  • Ability to work independently, balance multiple tasks, effective time management;
  • Proficient in SAP and/or Business Warehouse;
  • Programming experience in Visual Basic;
  • Highest level of knowledge in all MS Office and MS SharePoint applications;
  • Strong analytical skills needed to deal with complex data and draw conclusion;
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
