We are seeking an intern to join Yoox Customer Insight Team. This is a great role for an ambitious candidate willing to learn about consumer insight and take ownership of new challenges. Reporting to the Customer Insight Executive, and providing tactical and administrative support across the full spectrum of consumer and market research activity, the right candidate will gain first-hand experience in providing insight to a fast-paced fashion business and see their work used directly by multiple stakeholders in their planning and day-to-day decision making.


  • Supporting CI Executive in designing, implementing, analyzing and reporting on research activity – both quantitative and qualitative, to ensure the consumer point of view and its’ strategic and tactical implications are represented throughout the business
  • Support CI Executive in coordinating internal resources for the flawless execution of projects
  • Support running of the Insight Panel through management of all the engagement activities and supporting memebers queries
  • Collaborate with the wider Yoox NET-A-PORTER Group CI Team to streamline research processes and outputs
  • Keeping Customer Insight top of mind among stakeholders through creating and circulating engaging newsletters focusing on industry news and internal research activity
  • Undertaking administrative tasks such as invoicing, organising meetings with external parties, room bookings, etc.


Essential Skills & Requirements 

  • Degree in Maths, Economics, Finance,  Marketing, Market Research, Sociology, Psychology, Anthropology or Business; or able to demonstrate strong understanding of and interest in consumer culture and its’ business implications
  • Experience in designing and analysing qualitative and quantitative research
  • Experience in using online research tools such as survey building software, research panels
  • Highly numerate and analytical and capable of working with quantitative data
  • Ability to absorb and analyse information from a wide range of sources quickly
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, whilst still delivering high quality results
  • Customer orientated and an advocate in promoting best in class customer experience
  • Exceptional verbal, written and visual communication skills with focus on translating insight into digestible and engaging visual outputs accounting for how the data will be used by stakeholders
  • Strong MS PowerPoint, Word & Excel skills
  • Must be detail-oriented, reliable and able to multi-task with solid organizational and time-management skills
  • Flexible attitude and ability to work with multiple stakeholders and functions throughout the business in a  fast paced environment
  • Friendly and positive attitude
  • Self-starter with a can-do attitude
  • Excellent level of English (written and verbal)
