About the Role

Trade&Shopper Marketing has a strategic relevance for our company: it harmonises Marketing and Sales strategies/practices in order to obtain the best layout of our products in the points of sales, the proper stock and to enable the best experience for our shoppers.

Furthermore, it is responsible for the channel and client development strategy, the Ferrero portfolio enhancement along with the interlocutors, and the retailing mix standards’ definition.


Main Responsibilities:

This function consists of several teams that contribute to its overall mission and goals:

Category Activation Management

It defines with the Marketing division the category/brand budget (volumes and promo investments) related to the modern channel, creates and carries out sell-in and sell-out strategies, implements the category activation plans, supports the sales plans’ preparation, monitors performances.

Shopper Marketing Management

It knows in depth the shoppers’ drivers and purchasing barriers through the «path to purchase» in the various channels, analyses shopper insights to create category business development opportunities, defines guidelines for all the retailing mix elements, develops projects on shopping experience innovation.

Customer Analysis & Price Management

It analyses the clients’ trends and pinpoints opportunity areas, supports the Marketing function in defining price strategies. It also coordinates the turnover planning tools, the promo turnover and the client-specific investments, analyses key-quality indicators, developing methods aimed at evaluating the interrelation between quality and turnover.

Channel & Customer Marketing

It analyses the category potential for both the Modern Sales channel and the Out of Home channel and, evaluating growth opportunities, proposes business strategies, develops tools and actions in order to strengthen the relationship with customers and consumers.


Who we are looking for:

  • Master's Degree with minimum score 105/110
  • 1-2 years experience in Marketing, Trade Marketing or Sales
  • Experience in the FMCG market or in retail companies would be a plus
  • Understanding of different markets and cultures
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Fluency in English
