YOOX, which is part of YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP, has offices and operations in the United States, Europe, Japan, China, Hong Kong, delivering to more than 100 countries around the world and ensuring an exceptional level of customer service.

 

Role purpose:

Leading a team of 10+ analysts, she/he will represent the “single source of truth” in term of data and KPIs for Marketing Department and relevant stakeholders within the company (such as Group Data and Insights, Finance), reporting to the Brand and Marketing Director.

 

Key Responsibilties:

  • the Head of Marketing Analytics YOOX will have 3 main areas of responsibilities: Budget, Planning and Forecasting, Customer Insights, Traffic and Conversion;
  • she/he will work very closely with the Performance Marketing Director, Head of CRM and Customer Satisfaction;
  • she/he will providing an independent evaluation on the various activities, allocating budget in agnostic and performance-driven way;
  • she/he will support Brand Projects, PR, Social and Creative Teams: with these three departments, the focus will be on internal measurement, bench marketing, professionalization of the reporting;
  • she/he will play a pivotal role in supporting the MarkTech evolution of YOOX.

 

Skills and Experience:

General

  • creative and strategic thinker. Thought leadership - creative thinking and ideas generation are key for this role;
  • strong experience in a fast-paced Ecommerce or digital environment;
  • strong presentation & superb writing skills;
  • experience with leading a team of analysts or developers.

 

Traffic and Conversion

  • expert knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics;
  • thorough understanding of tag management solutions (e.g., TagCommander);
  • experience with data management (SQL querying as plus);
  • hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Data Studio;
  • knowledge of common A/B testing methodologies and toolkits.

 

Budget, planning and Forecasting

  • proven budget management expertise;
  • knowledge of standard forecasting modelling (e.g., customer / traffic /ROI models);
  • affinity to web marketing channels and main partners (Facebook, Google, Criteo);
  • ability to compare and evaluate complex and diverse investment;
  • previous experience with dealing with foreign currency as a plus.

 

Customer Insights and Analytics

  • understanding of customer acquisition and retention dynamics in highly innovative industries (internet or fashion industry;
  • champion metrics-driven analysis of channel performance, program results, consumer insights and buying behavior;
  • sound grounding in CRM practices and principles;
  • previous knowledge or exposure with Python (or similar languages) as a plus.

 

MarkTech expertise (plus)

  • understanding of channel orchestration and automation activities;
  • experience with cross-channel/cross-platform Marketing solutions.
