Descrizione della posizione

ABB is looking for an HVACR Business Development Manager for our Drives Business Unit based in Sesto San Giovanni (MI). As business development manager for HVACR, you will be responsible for local marketing and sales activities in accordance with the global marketing strategy for Business Unit Drives. You will be responsible for developing strong customer relationships in HVACR market segments and channels where ABB Drives are active, working with key external influencers, OEM’s and industry associations to provide support and consultation about utilization of ABB technologies and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

 

Tasks

  • As HVACR Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for marketing and sales activities in accordance with ABB Business Unit Drives strategy. You will be required to focus on customer relationships in HVAC market segment and channels working also with key external influencers.
  • Create HVACR business plan developing the proper value proposition in order to achieve the segment volume target for the Italian market
  • Manage HVACR drives portfolio in term of product management and market positioning
  • Ensure technical and commercial support to sales force and building a strong relationship with key customers, capturing HVACR projects and influencing key decision makers
  • Engagement in local industry associations related to the HVACR market
  • Work closely with the Global Business Unit to ensure the market and product development in order to fit local market needs and trends
  • Definition and implementation of the communication, promotion and training activities in the HVACR segment

 

Requirements

  • Key requirements include:
  • Engineering degree (B.Sc. minimum)
  • Experience in sales and product management with a background in the HVACR market, knowledge of drives and/or controls is preferred
  • Proficient user both for English (at least B2B) and Italian
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
