In our Power Grids Division, for our High Voltage Products Business Unit, located in Lodi, we are looking for a Quality Specialist. You will support the definition and implementation of actions to improve safety, operating efficiency, quality and productivity in the value chain; moreover You will involved in improving customer satisfaction and increasing profitability in a safe working environment within the local business.



On the base of defined test processes based on instructions and test plans, the Quality Specialist will ensure that no defective parts are used in production. The aim is to have no slip-through and thus to ensure the quality base for downstream processes, according to three levels of priorities to be followed: first one concerning safety; second one related to respect of proper quality requirements such as standards, specifications, and customer requirements; third one abut reporting on material availability for production.


Your main accountabilities will be

  • Promoting and supporting the deployment of the local Quality and Operational Excellence (Q&OpEx) strategy to accelerate the rate of operational improvement, with resulting cost savings within the operation; joint to this function, establishing and implementing Q&OpEx priorities and targets in cooperation with functional team members across all functions within the local operation in Lodi, monitoring progress and supports actions on deviations from targets
  • Conducting benchmarking and best practice spreading within the operations to embed a culture of excellence in operational performance
  • Creating and implementing of instructions, guidelines and procedures in order to drive standardization and consistent execution in delivery of customer requirements, ensuring conformance with the existing ones
  • Assisting with the analysis and communication of customer perceptions to guide the local improvement actions towards greater customer satisfaction
  • Managing supplier qualification process and audits and verifying that the root cause analysis are provided with proper sustained actions in order to meet Customer expectation
  • Training and coaching local teams in the standard quality improvement approach to develop organization capability to continuously improve business practices and performance



  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Green Belt Certification
  • Knowledge of Coding, Big Data, Data analytics, Statistical Analysis is considered a plus, as well as knowledge of quality control processes and methodologies (lean manufactoring)
  • Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken, is required
  • Problem-solving, goal oriented, precision in following procedures and good interpersonal attitude
  • Availability to short and brief transfer-period (generally once by two months)
