Descrizione della posizione

Reporting to the CFO, the Purchasing Manager is a local procurement support in Italy for the Global Insurance Procurement in the domain of Telematics Applications for Insurance Products, in order to minimize the interfaces and to optimize the project management support and relationship.
 

Tasks

  • Provider selection and development for AZ Technology applications in accordance with overall AZ Technology, GSP and ISP strategies
  • Tendering, Negotiation, Contracting and Management of new and existing supplier relationships
  • Active supplier management (selection, evaluation and development) together with business partner and tracking of specific goals (in terms of quality, logistics, costs), including reporting and initiation of necessary clarification, escalation, and corrective action
  • Drive and coordinate AZ Technology projects from procurement side and collaborate with international project teams
  • Management of emergencies in the supply chain for Telematics Applications (Logistic, Quality)
  • Identification and assessment of risks for business (including contractual risk, financial risk, insolvency risk, procurement market and country risks)
  • Link from AZ Technology team to OE's and ISP/GSP

  • University/Master degree or equivalent qualification
  • Fluent Italian & English skills, other European language skills highly appreciated
  • More than 57 years of professional experience with a focus on purchasing and supply chain management and/or Consulting in Connected X applications or Project Management in Automotive or industrial sector
  • Previous experience on telco / TMX is a plus
