Our client performs various
services in the operations, procurement and car
remarketing sector for its parent company – a worldwide
operating financial
services group. The existing team with headquarter in the greater Zug
area in
Switzerland is waiting for a – male or female –
International Operations &
Procurement Manager
with international automotive,
after sales, vehicle insurance or fleet management
experience and excellent negotiation skills.
Directly reporting to the International Operations and Procurement
Director, you are responsible for the active management of
relationships
with trading partners
and suppliers to the whole group of companies on an international
basis.
These relationships include motor manufacturers, after sales and
general services
providers to the fleet management and leasing markets. To assist in the
development
and proliferation of best practice operational and procurement
processes
within the operating companies working in close cooperation with other
Group Services departments. The focus of this role is particularly on
service-maintenance
and damage repair best practices and service providers. You ensure
that all volume and financial targets are achieved within agreed
timescales.
Besides having a communicative nature and an entrepreneurial approach,
you have an advanced qualification in business administration or a
technical education with further education in economics. You have +5
years
vocational experience and preferably some industry knowledge
(automotive and/or
procurement function) as well as first contact with responsibility.
Further we
expect buying, after-sales, accident management and/or customer service
experience. Knowledge in automotive, vehicle insurance or fleet
management
environment would be an asset. You are an active listener with high
level of
integrity and open to constructive feedback. It is essential for this
job to be
fluent in oral and written English and have very good PC skills. Any
other major
European language is an advantage.
